Intern P&C Analyst for Home, Easy Living, MDDR and Other
Saint-Ouen, 93, FR, 93400
This 6‑month working student role sits in the Planning & Controlling team for Home and Digital Services at Allianz Partners in Paris.
You’ll be supporting the Head of P&C to steer several lines of business globally (Europe, APAC, MEA, Americas). It’s a good fit if you’re studying finance/economics or a related field, want to see how financial planning and performance management work in a real international business, and are comfortable working with data, presentations, and different stakeholders.
You won’t just be “doing admin”: you’ll help turn numbers into insight, improve how we manage financial data, and see how decisions are made at global level.
What you do
You will spend your time:
• Preparing parts of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, and helping to turn the figures into clear messages and presentations for senior stakeholders
• Analysing financial data to spot trends and issues, and supporting the team in deriving practical, data‑based recommendations
• Helping to improve data quality and challenge data accuracy, identifying inconsistencies and working with stakeholders to resolve them
• Supporting the design and optimisation of data workflows and reporting processes, using technical and automated tools where possible (e.g. Excel models, dashboards)
• Coordinating inputs from different regions (Europe, Asia Pacific, MEA, Americas) and functions, and helping keep everyone aligned on timelines and deliverables
• Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use
What you bring
• You are currently studying for (or have recently completed) a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Insurance/Services or a closely related field, and are available for a 6‑month full‑time internship/working student contract in Paris
• You can work comfortably in English in an international environment; French or other languages are a plus as you’ll interact with colleagues from multiple regions
• You have strong quantitative and analytical skills: you can work with financial data, check consistency, and draw logical conclusions that help the business
• You are confident using Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations; familiarity with tools like Power BI or other reporting/visualisation tools is an advantage
• You work well with others, communicate clearly, and are comfortable coordinating with people from different cultures, functions and time zones
