This Legal Intern role at Allianz Partners is for a law student who wants real, hands‑on experience in insurance and social welfare law inside an international company.
You’ll be embedded in the legal team, working on concrete questions, contracts, complaints and litigation files that impact our business and our customers.

It’s a good fit if you:

  • Are currently doing a master’s in insurance law or social welfare law
  • Enjoy detailed legal research and clear legal writing
  • Want to understand how law is applied in practice in a corporate environment, not just in theory
  • Are comfortable working in English and French in a cross‑border, multicultural team

What you do

You will:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance, social welfare and related topics, and present your findings clearly to the legal team
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements and other legal documents, helping to spot risks and suggest improvements
  • Support complaints handling and litigation files (e.g. gathering documents, drafting basic notes, helping prepare responses) under supervision
  • Help the team prepare for meetings, negotiations and presentations, including preparing materials and summaries
  • Maintain and organise legal files and documentation so matters are up to date and easy to navigate
  • Collaborate with other departments to collect information for legal questions and cross‑functional projects
  • Perform day‑to‑day administrative tasks needed to keep the legal department running smoothly
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use

What you bring

We’re looking for:

  • Enrollment in a master’s degree in law with a specialisation in insurance law or social welfare law, giving you the legal foundation needed for our topics
  • Strong legal research, analytical and writing skills, so you can turn complex questions into clear, accurate outputs the team can rely on
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and to collaborate in a cross‑border team, managing your time and asking questions when needed
  • High attention to detail and good organisation, especially when handling multiple files and deadlines
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to draft, analyse and present legal materials
  • Effective communication skills in English and French, both written and spoken, to work with colleagues in different countries
  • Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is an advantage, especially if it involved contracts, complaints handling or litigation support
