This apprenticeship sits in the Global Procurement team at Allianz Partners. The team’s role is to make sure we buy the right things, from the right suppliers, at the right cost and risk level – across a complex, international business.

This role is for someone at the end of their studies who wants to see how procurement really works in a global company: getting hands-on with tenders, suppliers, data and tools, not just observing. You’ll support both day‑to‑day purchasing and longer‑term sourcing initiatives, with real responsibilities and clear guidance.

At Allianz Partners, AI is revolutionizing customer service and claims management through innovative solutions. These AI-driven tools enhance productivity by streamlining complex claims processes, reducing administrative burdens, and accelerating resolution times. Our AI-powered technology has made claims processing faster, offering quicker resolutions. All while ensuring human oversight for claims to maintain service integrity. By embracing AI and Emerging Technologies, Allianz Partners continues to lead the industry, meeting ever-changing customer needs with innovative solutions. Our commitment to Ethical AI practices safeguards data integrity and trust, ensuring responsible deployment across all operations. This approach not only enhances customer experiences but also supports strategic initiatives like fraud detection and personalized product offerings, solidifying Allianz Partners' position as a leader in the insurance sector.

If you enjoy analysing data, structuring information, talking to different stakeholders and seeing how your work translates into better deals and processes, this is likely a good fit.

What you do

• Support Category Managers in their daily purchasing work: supplier searches, communication, collecting offers, following up on contracts and documentation
• Help prepare and run RFQs/tenders, from consolidating requirements to comparing offers and supporting recommendation documents
• Contribute to evaluating and monitoring suppliers (quality, cost, delivery performance, compliance), and keeping supplier data up to date
• Maintain and improve purchasing documentation and databases so information is reliable, searchable and usable by the wider team
• Analyse purchasing data (spend, KPIs, savings) in Excel and prepare clear, visual reports and presentations in PowerPoint for management
• Participate in procurement process improvement and digitalisation initiatives, testing tools and suggesting practical improvements
• Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering, with the apprenticeship aligned to your study programme

• Demonstrated interest in purchasing and supplier management (e.g. coursework, internships, projects), and a clear motivation to grow in this field
• Comfortable working with data in Excel (pivot tables, lookups/basic formulas, charts) and creating structured, visual presentations in PowerPoint – this is a core part of the job
• Strong written and spoken English (C1): you’ll work in an international environment and need to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Reliable, organised and detail‑oriented: able to manage several tasks at once, follow up proactively and keep documentation accurate
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills and the confidence to interact with stakeholders and suppliers in a professional way

How we hire

We hire directly. Allianz Partners does not accept unsolicited CVs or approaches from agencies. We only work with partners on our approved supplier list, under contract. Any unsolicited submissions will not be considered.
