As a member of the purchasing department, reporting to the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will work closely with the purchasing team to support purchasing operations and strategic initiatives.
What you do
Your primary responsibilities will include (non-exhaustive list):
- Support the Category Manager in daily purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing, communication, and contract management.
- Participate in the preparation and execution of requests for quotation (RFQs) and the analysis of tenders.
- Contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and compliance.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of purchasing documentation and databases.
- Analyze purchasing data, such as spend analysis, KPI tracking, and savings measurement, and prepare management reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
- Engage in process improvement projects and contribute to the digitalization of procurement tools.
What you bring
Technical and Professional Skills:
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree (BAC+5) with a specialization in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
- Demonstrates a strong interest in purchasing and supplier management.
- Possesses a foundational understanding of project management principles.
- Proficient in English, with a minimum C1 level proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrates a high level of reliability and attention to detail.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Exhibits excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Possesses strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Able to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Displays a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
Hard Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
