This role involves ensuring accurate posting and recording of operations and transactions within the Accounting systems.
Within the Finance Factory under the Financial and Services Department, the local transactional accounting team collaborates closely with the Finance Factory central team based in India, serving as the primary liaison for the local counterpart.
What you do
Document and verify all operations and transactions of Allianz Partners' legal entities within the Accounting Systems in collaboration with the central team.
- Accurately record operations and transactions in the Accounting Systems, adhering to group internal policies, regulatory standards, and deadlines, while complying with local and IFRS GAAP, tax, and legal requirements.
- Verify that all operations and transactions from Feeder Systems are properly recorded in the Accounting Systems by investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Reconcile and clear all open item transactions within the Balance Sheet Accounts.
- Provide clear justification and thorough documentation for all open items that result in outstanding balances.
- Conduct and document comprehensive bank reconciliations.
- Review accounting journals to finalize monthly results, promptly identifying and addressing any booking discrepancies.
- Assist with external audits and ensure timely resolution of all related findings.
- Focus on implementing best practices and optimizing or automating processes.
- Contribute actively to cross-functional and group projects.
