We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to support the growth of our portfolio across Western Romania. If you enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities and helping businesses navigate uncertainty, we'd love to hear from you.

 

What you do

 

We would be happy to welcome you in our team if you would like to have the following responsibilities:

  • Implement the sales strategy and contribute to the growth of Allianz Trade's client portfolio
  • Promote Allianz Trade's services in Romania, with a particular focus on Trade Credit Insurance and financial risk management solutions
  • Achieve commercial objectives and contribute to the continued success of the Sales Team
  • Prospect the market and identify new business opportunities
  • Engage and connect with prospective clients across the region
  • Deliver compelling business presentations and introduce companies to Allianz Trade's solutions
  • Arrange and conduct meetings with potential clients
  • Understand clients' business objectives and recommend suitable solutions
  • Prepare and present tailored commercial proposals
  • Negotiate and secure new business opportunities while managing and developing existing client relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of commercial activities in line with company standards
  • Deliver a high-quality client experience throughout the entire sales journey
  • Collaborate closely with Risk, Claims and other key internal stakeholders
  • Represent Allianz Trade within local business communities, networking events and industry forums

 

What you bring

 

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Communication/Marketing
  • Enjoys building new relationships and opening doors to business opportunities
  • Has experience in B2B sales, financial services, banking, insurance, leasing, factoring or other client-facing commercial roles
  • Knows how to build trust and develop long-term partnerships
  • Feels comfortable engaging with entrepreneurs, CFOs, Finance Directors and business leaders
  • Is curious, asks insightful questions and takes time to understand clients' challenges
  • Is motivated by achieving results and spotting opportunities where others see obstacles
  • Takes ownership, works independently and brings a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Communicates confidently in both Romanian and English
  • Holds a valid driving licence and enjoys being active across the region
  • Has at least Basic understanding and/or interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, like ChatGPT, (Microsoft) Copilot, (Generative) Artificial Intelligence or GenAI and so on

 

Experience in Trade Credit Insurance, Corporate Banking, Factoring or Commercial Risk Management is an advantage. More importantly, we're looking for someone with energy, ambition and a genuine passion for building meaningful business relationships.
