As Senior Operations Cost Analyst, reporting to the Regional Operations Productivity Manager, you will support operational costs planning, performance monitoring, and reporting across Lines of Business. You will partner cross-functionally to deliver accurate insights, ensure alignment with Group standards, and help improve cost efficiency and operational performance.
Within Global Operations (COO), the Performance & Productivity team drives financial performance, planning, and reporting across Operations globally (50+ business units, ~17,000 FTE). The team provides insights, governance, and tools to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous efficiency improvement.
Way of working: Follows a hybrid work schedule to include 1-day per week in office location Rua José Versolato, 101 – Torre A| Centro, São Bernardo do Campo – SP/ Brasil

What you will do
- Support financial planning and budgeting processes, translating targets into actionable budgets for business owners
- Monitor operational costs and financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Deliver accurate, timely reporting and forecasting to support decision-making
- Drive financial analysis and business case development to inform strategic initiatives
- Partner with Operations and cross-functional teams to align financial and operational plans
- Improve and automate data collection, consolidation, and reporting processes
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, Group policies, and audit requirements
- Contribute to identifying risks and opportunities to enhance cost efficiency and performance
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly and in alignment with our standards for data governance, security and ethical uses.
What you will bring
- University degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Finance, Operations, Consulting, Audit, or similar analytical role
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI to download data)
- Python and VBA are a plus but not required
- Proficient with MS Office Suite to include PowerPoint
- Comfort working with large datasets, systems, and process automation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders globally
- Structured thinker with ability to simplify complex topics
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
