Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and entrepreneurial Scrum Master to join our Global Reporting Platform (GRP) squad. The GRP is the accounting system designed to harmonize financial tools across all subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile processes and ensuring team alignment with Allianz standards. 

This position requires fluency in French and English, follows the French calendar, and operates within CET working hours 

 

What You Do:

  • Preparation, organization, facilitation, and moderation of Scrum ceremonies. 

  • Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and organization; coaching the team to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace. 

  • Establishing and reporting on agile metrics (e.g., burn-down chart). 

  • Driving continuous improvement of agile teams, enhancing customer value, building quality, and increasing team satisfaction. 

  • Educating teams on agile mindset by actively practicing Scrum values. 

  • Improving and supporting the optimal use of tools and processes across teams. 

  • Fostering a positive attitude, curiosity, and customer-centric service mindset. 

  • Implementing various moderation techniques for effective meetings, leading to new insights and actions. 

  • Acting as a servant leader and removing impediments to ensure the team's undisturbed focus on sprint goals. 

  • Collaborating closely with Agile teams, product owners, other Scrum Masters, Agile coaches, and project leaders. 

  • Assisting the team with issue resolution by managing and addressing support tickets. 

 

What You Bring: 

Education, Certification, and Experience: 

  • University degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Delivery Lead for at least one Scrum team in a multinational digital software development environment. 

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and theory. 

  • Proven problem-solving skills and organizational abilities. 

  • Strong intercultural skills for working in an international environment. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including facilitation, coaching, and conflict management. 

  • Supporter of servant leadership. 

  • Enthusiast of innovation and continual improvement. 

  • Full proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a plus. 

  • Scrum Master/Agile Coaching/CSM/PSM/SAFe certification. 

  • Knowledge of Agile methods and practices such as Kanban, Lean, XP, TDD.  

Functional and Technical Skills: 

  • Proficient in Scrum and Kanban methodologies. 

  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies. 

  • Knowledge of SAP GL, SAP AP and AR, SAP Bank Accounting, SAP AA, SAP SD, and SAP MM.
