Senior Account Manager

Allianz Trade is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Senior Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take strategic ownership of a portfolio of accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client retention across the Oceania region. Working closely with broker and clients, you will build and maintain strong partnerships to drive the commercial success of our business. You will be the central point of contact for your clients, collaborating with internal teams to deliver a seamless experience.

What You Will Do

• Develop and manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the central communication point and ensuring their service, retention, and growth.

• Manage relationships with brokers and distribution partners to drive commercial success.

• Manage renewal pipeline, including negotiations of terms within the commercial underwriting framework.

• Facilitate portfolio growth by onboarding new business leads and identifying cross- and up-selling opportunities.

• Take personal responsibility for implementing company-wide quality of service standards.

• Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure the portfolio is profitable and sustainable.

• Ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements, including Know-Your-Customer, ESG, and other guidelines.

What You Will Bring

• Successful track record in managing a portfolio of clients

• Proven ability to develop and manage broker and partner relationships

• Ability to understand current and prospective clients' businesses and assess underlying commercial risks.

• A problem-solving mindset

• Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills.

• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Strong negotiation and influencing attributes.

• Compliance with Commercial Underwriting objectives, guidelines, and regulatory requirements is crucial.

• Awareness of AI technologies and are enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.
