Senior Analyst-Application Operations(Change&Release Management) _D3189

You will:

• Oversee and coordinate weekly maintenance windows for ABSd PreDev/LPTC/LPTZ environments from 10 AM to 01:59 PM CET.
• Manage unattended weekly maintenance for ABSd DEV/ATE environments, with follow-up the next day, except on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM CET.
• Implement security patches every four weeks.
• Conduct monthly maintenance for load test environments (ABSd LPTx) on Mondays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CET.
• Participate in maintenance windows 1-2 times a month, handling approximately 120 changes per year distributed within the team.
• Alternate lead role responsibilities monthly, ensuring smooth handover after production changes.
• Plan and execute time changes (summer to winter time).
• Serve as the change owner for end-to-end change processes, including:
  • Communicating with all involved parties (Linux, VMware, DB2, Storage, Architects, MQ, etc.).
  • Monitoring the execution of tasks.
  • Coordinating tasks across functions.
  • Making decisions on further actions in case of deviations.
  • Providing final approval.
• Align maintenance processes with predetermined frameworks, adapting content based on requirements (MFES Release, HW Updates, Firmware Updates, Security Patches, etc.).
• Create roadmaps and schedule production maintenance changes within the ABS-D planning framework.
• Need to follow the German OE Holiday Calendar to match the business windows
• Work time would be 06:00 AM CET to 02:00 PM CET.
• There also could be weekend activities also planned by the Environment Management team, which mean there could some weekend tasks as well.

Your skills:

• University Graduate degree (mandatory).
• In-depth knowledge of ABS-D processes, particularly infrastructure knowledge of ABS under Linux with distributed components and their dependencies.
• Strong cross-team coordination skills for change execution according to agreed plans.
• Ability to assess priorities and impacts in case of delays and errors.
• Proficiency in escalation and decision-making in collaboration with the MOD during production errors.
• Knowledge in ServiceNow like change creation, driving the change tasks, creating incidents etc would be good.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficient English language skills.
• Strong coordination, organization, and project management skills.
• Basic Knowledge in AI tools is an add-on advantage.
