Key Responsibilities

 

  • Promote and grow Allianz Trade’s credit insurance business, driving sustainable business opportunities that contribute to overall growth and profitability.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies to establish and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with partners, brokers, and strategic channels.
  • Identify, structure, and negotiate tailored trade credit insurance solutions that align with clients’ risk appetite and commercial objectives.
  • Leverage Allianz’s wider multiline capabilities to uncover and execute cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities that enhance customer value.
  • Ensure delivery of market‑leading service and customer experience, maintaining consistent communication and high service standards.
  • Apply disciplined commercial underwriting practices to safeguard portfolio quality, ensure accurate pricing, and comply with Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) and internal underwriting requirements.
  • Maintain a profitable and well‑balanced portfolio, aligning business development activities with risk management and long‑term client value.
  • Demonstrate Allianz People Attributes—Trust, Entrepreneurship, Customer & Market Excellence, and Collaborative Leadership—in all interactions and decision‑making.

 

 

Key Requirements

 

This role requires a diligent, high-performing team player with the interpersonal and organizational expertise to excel in a high-stakes environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Professional Expertise: Minimum 8 years of proven experience in B2B Trade Credit Insurance, Trade Finance, or related business development.

  • Commercial Acumen: A consistent track record of exceeding business targets through disciplined execution and market-driven strategies.

  • Language Mastery: Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese to serve our diverse regional portfolio.
