Senior Enterprise Architect (m/f/d)

In this role you will be an integral part of the Senior Management office to ensure that the organization is meeting compliance, regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT departments, business units, and senior leadership, to develop and enforce governance policies, standards, and procedures

What You Will Do:

• Ensure the adoption and integration of architecture standards, reference models, and shared platforms defined by the corporate group
• Promote modern architectural practices such as cloud-native, microservices, event-driven, and API- first design
• Support enterprise transformation initiatives, including legacy modernization, cloudification, AI integration, and digital platforms
• Actively participate in architecture governance forums and contribute to the evolution of enterprise architecture strategy
• Working with Cloud Transformation team to ensure that governance was considered as part of migration strategies
• Act as a thought leader and expert on topics like AI, Robotics and Quantum Computing capabilities, advising internal teams on the latest technology and valuable implementation strategies within Allianz
• Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate and excel

What You Bring:

• Enthusiastic team player who wants to shape actively IT and feels comfortable in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex IT issues in a way that is appropriate for the target group
• Ability to independently prioritize and to work independently, flexible, efficiently and target oriented
• Passioned for modern technology – e.g., AI, big data, analytics, cloud, serverless, event-driven
• Project management and reporting experience and the ability to operate in a deadline-oriented environment
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills and be able to build trusting working relationships with diverse people

What You Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• Over 10 years of proven experience in Technology, with a strong background in consultancy, risk management, and leadership role
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on strategic and conceptual thinking
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools and agile methodologies
• Familiarity with integration patterns, APIs, microservices and event-driven architectures
• Proficiency with architecture modelling and documentation tools
• Fluency in English
