Senior Product Owner

The Product Owner for Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (EGRC) and Cloud Application Discovery (CAD) will be responsible for both strategic product management and detailed business analysis. This dual role requires a unique blend of skills to drive the development and implementation of effective EGRC and CAD solutions, ensuring they meet the business needs and regulatory requirements of Allianz.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for EGRC and CAD solutions, aligning product goals with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and prioritize features. Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure alignment.
Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for EGRC and CAD solutions. Ensure that the development team has a clear understanding of the requirements and acceptance criteria.
Feature Development: Define and document detailed product requirements and user stories for both EGRC and CAD applications. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of features.
Sprint Planning & Execution: Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Make informed decisions on trade-offs between scope, budget, and timelines together with Archer Change Team, CAB and Chapter Lead.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure the quality of the EGRC and CAD products. Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Market Analysis & Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities for product enhancements in EGRC and CAD domains.
Training & Support: Support the training and onboarding of users and stakeholders. Provide guidance and expertise on the use of EGRC and CAD solutions.
Business Analysis:
- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and requirements for EGRC and CAD applications.
- Develop and document business models, workflows, and process maps.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Requirements Gathering: Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements. Ensure that requirements are clearly defined, understood, and aligned with business objectives.
Solution Design: Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements for EGRC and CAD. Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Budgeting & Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process within Group charges for EGRC and CAD solutions.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with the approved budget.
- Collaborate with finance teams to provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
OKR Contribution & Follow-Up:
- Contribute to the development and alignment of quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the EGRC and CAD teams.
- Monitor progress towards achieving OKRs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance against OKRs.
Your skills
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance processes.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and application discovery tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Experience: Experience in product management and business analysis, preferably in EGRC and cloud application discovery domains. Experience with ArcherIRM and cloud technologies is highly desirable.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in product management, business analysis, EGRC, or cloud technologies are a plus.
