Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters on AWS with Amazon EKS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure health and performance, proactively identifying and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to build robust CI/CD pipelines and enforce cloud and security best practices.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for cloud-native environments, ensuring stability and reliability.
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions related to cloud infrastructure and container orchestration strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation covering system configurations, standards, and operational best practices
- Support occasional projects and deployments in Microsoft Azure, applying cross-cloud expertise as needed
Qualification, Expereince and Skills
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering and DevOps, with a strong focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS)—including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and particularly Amazon EKS for Kubernetes orchestration.
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, enabling scalable and maintainable cloud infrastructure.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline development, scripting with Bash and Python, and using configuration management tools to automate deployments and streamline operations.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud fundamentals and services. Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration for modern application delivery.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies across cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of working effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments
