Your Role

As an Architect in Lean Core, you support the design and governance of our core IT landscape in an agile environment. You ensure that solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and governance frameworks, while enabling efficient delivery across Agile Squads. You will contribute to the evolution of the Allianz Business System (ABS) as a central backbone for core insurance processes and in the Cross Cutting area as part of BMP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve solution architectures within Lean Core
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements
• Drive non-functional requirements (e.g. security, resilience, regulatory compliance)
• Collaborate with Agile Squads, Product Owners, and engineers
• Support architecture reviews, documentation, and governance processes
• Identify technical risks and cross-team dependencies with a focus on secure and compliant solutions

Your Profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar
• Experience in software development, architecture, or IT engineering
• Understanding of architecture principles, security concepts, and cloud environments
• Interest in governance, compliance, and enterprise-scale IT
• Familiar with Agile ways of working
• Strong advantage: Knowledge of Allianz security frameworks (e.g. AFRIS, AFRIAM, AFIRM) and governance structures such as GISF and Allianz Risk Shield (ARS).
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Good to have Having a basic understanding or exposure to AI tools would be a plus.Familiarity with basic AI tools is considered an advantage.Basic knowledge or experience with AI tools will be beneficial.Exposure to AI tools, even at a basic level, is a value-add.A fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.
