Job Purpose
As Senior Manager of Ops & IT Strategy planning in Asia Pacific Regional Office, he / she is responsible to drive annual planning, forecasting, and long-term strategic roadmaps with senior stakeholders, both in regional office and operating entities (OEs), for Insurance Operations and IT functions.
This role requires to produce business insights and recommend strategic Ops & IT Transformation roadmap to Head of Ops & IT Strategy Planning and Regional COO for endorsement & decision making. He / She is expected to work closely with Senior Performance Management Manager who deliver the KPIs tracking output to review and strengthen strategies on half-yearly basis.
What you do
- Plan and drive Strategic Dialogue (SD) and Planning Dialogue (PD) activities for AZAP Ops & IT functions, within Regional Office and all participating Operating Entities.
- Be the main contact point of Ops & IT function for AZAP Finance SD and PD coordinator, ensuring all Ops & IT planning activities aligned with overall timeline and responsible for all Ops & IT deliverables' timely submissions with quality completion.
- Provide market insights through industrial network, business partners, Group and market (countries) sharings to Regional Ops & IT community.
- Build, review and enhance Regional Ops & IT strategies, aligning with Group strategy & direction. Provide recommendations and support leadership steering to OEs on their Ops & IT strategy plans.
- Deliver Regional Ops & IT Storyboards as key SD and PD outputs for RCOO presentation to Group leadership.
What you bring
- Bachelors Degree, preferably majoring in Business, Finance, Economics or Insurance studies. Having a Masters or other Insurance Operations Certifications is a plus.
- 8-10 year of working experience of which at least 5 years are in business planning, management consulting, transformation program portfolio management, preferably in insurance operations and IT function, either Regional or local entity.
- Excellent executive communication and business strategy proposition skill
- Advanced data analytics skill with ability to navigate ambiguity and translate complex metrics into clear management insights
- Strong organisation and coordination skill
- Strong stakeholder management capability and able to influence without direct authority
- Good team player and interpersonal skill
- Hard-working, willingness to go the extra-mile for quality deliverables within short timeline
- AI skills, ChatGPT and CoPilot, an advantage
