Description:
The Strategic Planning & Transformation Lead is a key role responsible for shaping the company’s long term direction, driving enterprise wide transformation, and overseeing high impact strategic and special projects. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role partners closely with the executive team to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and ensure execution of key strategic priorities.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational discipline, project leadership, and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development & Business Planning
- Lead the development, refinement, and communication of the company’s business strategy working along side Marketing & Communications, People & Culture teams
- Translate the CEO’s vision into actionable strategic priorities and enterprise KPIs
- Facilitate annual and quarterly strategic planning cycles in partnership with functional leaders
- Support in external & internal communication and presentation preparation for strategic presentations and CEO communications. This includes board level and executive committee level materials, ensuring clarity, structure, and business relevance
- Design, lead, and govern cross functional transformation programs aligned with organizational priorities. This includes partnering with key functions (Operations, Digital, Finance) to ensure alignment and delivery of outcomes
- Identify operational inefficiencies and design interventions to improve performance, customer experience, and digital enablement
- Work with the various functions to consolidate, report, and analyse information in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner
- Identify and drive synergies to automate reporting processes where possible — including building dashboards, implementing rule‑based automation (RBA), and leveraging AI‑enabled tools — to enhance efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve reporting reliability
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy, transformation, management consulting
- Proven project management experience having led cross functional projects
- Exposure to working closely with senior executives or within a strategy office/CEO office is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
- Experience with modern analytics and automation tools, including Power BI, rule‑based automation (RBA), and AI‑enabled solutions, to support reporting, insights generation, and operational efficiency
