What you do

  • Process initiated, received, and returned euro and foreign currency transfers for the Bank and its clients.
  • Handle claims related to initiated, received, and returned euro and foreign currency transfers in SWIFT.
  • Manage claims for transfers with unclear recipients, incorrect, or duplicate payments.
  • Perform corrective operations in euro and foreign currency on client accounts based on requests received through the Help Desk application.
  • Prepare documents for the Bank to return incorrect transfers caused by employee errors.
  • Generate registers and reports related to euro and foreign currency transfers, in line with the Bank’s rules or as required by regulatory authorities and the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB).
  • Execute additional tasks assigned by the Head of Payments and Back Office related to departmental activities.
  • Participate in the development and testing of new functionalities and projects aimed at optimizing and automating the department’s activities. 

 

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of banking experience.
  • Experience in a Payments Department at another bank is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of regulations governing local and foreign currency payments.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • Ability to use AI technologies such as ChatGPT.
  • Ability to make effective decisions and work collaboratively in a team.
