What you do
- Gather, document, and clarify business requirements in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Participate in the planning, analysis, and implementation of enhancements to insurance systems.
- Coordinate communication between business users, vendors, and IT teams.
- Create and maintain test scenarios and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and expected outcomes. Execute functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve system issues.
- Support release activities and post-implementation verification.
- Ensure compliance with established methodologies, processes, and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to business analysis and testing practices.
What you bring
- University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics, or another relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, , QA Analyst, or in a similar role.
- Good understanding of insurance business processes, products, and operations
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
- Ability to analyze end-to-end business processes, system interactions, and data flows across multiple applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to investigate complex business and system issues using available data, logs, and monitoring information.
- Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance across the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, test design, execution, defect management, and test reporting.
- Experience identifying repeatable test scenarios and driving test automation initiatives to improve test coverage, efficiency, and quality.
- SQL skills, including the ability to write and execute queries for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and testing activities.
- Ability to effectively use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure AI, or similar) for requirements analysis, test case generation, documentation preparation, and data analysis while ensuring the accuracy and quality of deliverables
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
NICE TO HAVE
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent is considered as advantage
- Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow or other tools for requirements management, defect tracking, incident management, and service request processing.
