Job Purpose
We are looking for a Software Developer – Oracle PL/SQL to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of new Oracle applications and the support of existing ones using SQL and PL/SQL. You will participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of projects, working both independently and collaboratively within a broader team.
What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and deliver application components or complete solutions
- Collaborate with business users in cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions
- Maintain and enhance existing applications by adding new features and troubleshooting issues
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation
- Manage incidents and first-level day-to-day support to end-users
- Follow best practices in coding, deployment and testing
What you bring
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development or other related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role
- Strong experience with SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
- Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Preferred experience with Oracle Application Express (ApEx) and RESTful Services (ORDS)
- Familiarity with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports
- Experience with the insurance or financial sector will be considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
