Allianz Technology SE is executing one of the largest infrastructure transformation programs to deliver the Hybrid Cloud Strategy and are looking for suitably experienced and committed Technical Architects to join their journey in establishing an Enterprise Cloud Management Platform to offer several IaaS, PaaS and SaaS services to the Allianz Group Entities. Such an individual will showcase the following capabilities.

With his/her broad knowledge across all infrastructure areas such as server & virtualization, storage & backup technologies or networking technologies, the Infrastructure Architect designs & documents solutions for infrastructure provisioning and data center migrations

S/He is an expert in his/her areas of expertise while still maintains the overview.

S/He has the capability to explain complex technologies in simple terms to clients, peers and management.

Qualification & Experience

10+ Years’ Experience in IT Infrastructure (Architecture, Administration, SME)
Strong expertise in Azure and/or AWS architecture
Strong expertise in Azure and/or AWS architecture
Strong expertise in Virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V)
Enterprise networking (routing, firewalls, VPN, DNS)
Experience with hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, VPNs)
Infrastructure security, identity management, encryption
Storage architectures (SAN/NAS/object)
Experience designing solutions for high availability and disaster recovery
TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks

Business / Client Engagement (e.g. Marketing, Consulting)

Very good English language skills

Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken language

Strong communication and stakeholder management
Excellent documentation and presentation skills
