The candidate should have around 7-10 years of relevant Infrastructure experience with excellent hands on experience on Velocloud SDWAN and Cisco Routing Technologies. The other Technologies involved in this role are as mentioned below.

 

Experience/Domain Knowledge needed:

 

Primary Skills (L2+ / L3 Level expertise – mandatory requirement):

  • Velocloud SDWAN – Primary skill
  • Cisco Routing / Switching – Primary skill

 

Secondary Skills (Secondary skills – good to have):

  • Virtualisation (VMWare / Nutanix)
  • Checkpoint Firewalls
  • AWS / Azure Cloud Technologies

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Support with Design and Consulting activities for the global Velocloud SDWAN solution in Allianz.
  2. Support with Build and upgrade activities for the SDWAN solution.
  3. Provide L2+ / L3 level Escalation Operational support for the SDWAN solution.
  4. Interact with Customers for understanding and supporting their requirements with SDWAN deployment.
  5. Owning and supporting SDWAN migrations of Customer locations from Legacy WAN solutions to the Centralised Global SDWAN solution.
  6. Incident / Change and Problem Management support for the Global SDWAN solution.
  7. Working closely with Vendors (e.g. Velocloud) for escalated issues until resolution.
  8. Collaborating with Architecture, Engineering and various internal and external delivery and support teams for ensuring Optimal support for the Allianz SDWAN solution.
  9. Proactively managing client engagement, technology lifecycle development, and planning and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders
  10. Analysing, evaluating, and communicating network capacity and performance data with the objective of driving improvements to customer networks.
  11. Creating presentations and demonstrations related to technology, process, or client solutions as necessary.
  12. Support the Information Security Officer and the Audit Units for periodic Audits / PT on the SDWAN solution
  13. Documentation of infrastructure design, procedures and processes as part of Operational support activities.
  14. Mentoring and provide Technical guidance for the L2 and L1 SDWAN Operations teams, as needed.

 

Qualifications

 

  1. The candidate should have around 7-10 years of relevant Infrastructure experience with excellent hands on experience on Velocloud SDWAN and Cisco Routing Technologies.
  2. B Tech Computer Engineering/E&C/MCA/BSc/MSc Computer Science /IT
  3. Infrastructure certifications
  4.  Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
  5. A fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.
