The role
The SCMT Controlling Manager will be responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting, analyzing, and challenging financial KPIs and their main drivers for business development, operational steering and project management. This role involves close collaboration with business representatives to communicate to the staff, coordinate improvement measures and ensure compliance with controlling-relevant standards. The SCMT activity covers Specialty Credit, Midterm and all products attached to the department.
The SCMT Controlling manager will steer the team's activity to anticipate and meet (internal) client's needs: SCMT Management, business teams, MNC/SCMT Accounting team, local finance teams, Group functions,...
Main tasks
- Develop recommendations for financial targets within strategic and operational planning and forecasting processes (long-, mid-, and short-term perspectives).
- Create and provide financial analyses, reports, and dashboards for various stakeholders on an ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Evaluate, develop, coordinate, and support the preparation of financial accounts & management reports.
- Contribute to, establish, and further develop guidelines, methods, processes, and systems for controlling.
- Monitor actuals versus plan, analyze deviations and their drivers, and recommend measures to ensure plan achievement while tracking ongoing progress of major project initiatives.
- Steer the AZT SCMT 4-years plan with SCMT management committee, coordinate the planning dialogue with the regions / OEs, ensure system accuracy
- Support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis.
- Operational management of the AZT SCMT Central Controlling team members, in order to ensure qualitative deliveries within deadlines
Profile
Academic background
- Master degree from a top-ranked university demonstrating a rigorous academic foundatio
Professional background
- 7 years of controlling / finance experience, ideally in insurance, financial services, or trade finance
- Solid track record in successful transformation, in business partnering, performance management, and P&L responsibility
Economic & market knowledge
- Possess economic & business acumen, and understand the correlation with the financial services markets
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting rules, Solvency 2 principles, insurance regulatory environment
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting systems (i.e. SAP, F+,...)
- Confirmed management skill

- Comfortable navigating transformation and evolving priorities while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
- Adept at balancing multiple perspectives and aligning diverse stakeholders towards common objectives.
- Skilled at presenting financial insights in a clear, concise, and compelling way to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

Language
- Fluent English level is compulsory
