We are looking for a Working Student – Assistant Underwriter Property based in Stockholm.

As a Working Student Underwriting Assistant, you'll be an integral part of our Nordic underwriting team in the Line of Business (LoB) Property in Stockholm and Copenhagen, providing crucial support to ensure the smooth operation of our underwriting processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the dynamic field of multinational corporate insurance while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do.

The Impact You Will Have

In this role, you will play a key supporting role in Property underwriting activities, assisting with tasks such as data analysis, documentation, and client communication. Your contribution will be vital in helping us achieve our business targets and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients. You'll have the chance to learn and grow in a supportive environment where your ideas and initiative are encouraged.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Assisting in underwriting new and renewal accounts by gathering and analyzing relevant data.

Ensuring data quality in business systems.

Contributing to due diligence concerning ESG, compliance, and related matters.

Helping to maintain accurate policy documentation and ensuring contract certainty for all accounts.

Providing support in policy administration and credit control processes.

Assisting in maintaining positive relationships with brokers, clients, and partners.

Collaborating with various departments and offices within the organization to facilitate the underwriting process.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in written and spoken Swedish and English.

Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to tasks.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team of underwriters and student workers.

Familiarity with risk assessment concepts is a plus, but not required.

The ability to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-driven decision-making is valuable.

Further Information:

Working time: 20 hours per week in average

Duration 12 months, with the possibility of extension

Enrollment at university is a prerequisite for the duration of employment.
