Do you believe the sum of the parts is greater than the whole?
As a Claims Service Consultant - Liability, you will join our National Liability Claims Unit. Responsible for supporting our customers and ensuring the timely and cost-efficient management of claims, you will gain technical knowledge and expertise to take ownership of your portfolio of claims and seek the best possible outcome for all stakeholders.
About the role
- Managing a complex portfolio of claims arising from Public and Products Liability products in a timely and cost-effective manner with a focus on personal injury
- Ensuring a high standard of service is maintained for our internal and external customers while building a network of professional relationships
- Continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders to report on claim developments, trends and potential large losses
- Active communication and negotiation with panel solicitors, loss adjusters and service providers with a view to reaching the best possible outcome for all stakeholders involved
About You
- Previous experience working in an insurance, claims or legal environment is regarded but not required
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
- Willingness to be a team player and support our collaborative and supportive culture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with the ability to balance understanding, empathy and compassion with the best commercial outcome for Allianz
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to provide superior customer service across a range of internal and external stakeholders
- A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
