About the role

Adhering to the AAL Claims Management Process, ensuring compliance with current legislation, and making informed decisions on claims.

Maintaining knowledge of legislative impacts on claims management and apply this knowledge to decision-making for each claim.

Committing to AAL standards to minimize claims leakage and control the cost of claims.

Managing expectations and relationships with claimants and stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Building and maintaining positive team relationships, tailor communication to client interactions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.
About you

Minimum of 1 year insurance and/or call centre experience (desirable)

Possess relevant tertiary or industry-specific qualifications, with significant experience in a designated functional area, particularly in claims management within a complex insurance organization.

Demonstrate specific technical capabilities and competence, meeting AAL's professional progression standards, which may include the submission of a portfolio of evidence (for AAL employees).

Experience in effectively handling claims management processes and procedures across various general insurance product lines.

Able to collaboratively work within a team environment, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills to manage competing demands.

Exhibit the ability to analyse complex information, maintain high attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills to achieve the best outcomes for AAL.
