The primary purpose of this role is to manage a portfolio of national corporate clients across Personal Injury products to achieve retention targets by supporting client’s Personal Injury objectives and customer service levels and to ensure an ongoing pipeline of consolidation and new business opportunities to support divisional growth targets.

   

About the role

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve retention and growth objectives for national workers compensation products, while expanding the Personal Injury business within the existing portfolio.
  • Collaborate with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to assess needs, analyze performance, and deliver tailored service plans, including quarterly claims reviews, service meetings, and site visits.
  • Drive innovation and client engagement by leading executive and strategy reviews, optimizing internal processes, and promoting additional Allianz products across various insurance lines.
  • Generate new business through sales pipelines, tenders, and prospecting opportunities, while representing Allianz at sponsored events and contributing to internal projects with Brand and Marketing teams.
  • Stay informed on legislative changes and market intelligence, communicate updates to clients and third-party providers, and assist in training sessions to enhance capability and knowledge across stakeholders.

 

About you

  • Possess relevant experience in managing customer accounts or professional consulting, with expertise in Personal Injury, risk management, WHS, or Personal Injury claims/underwriting.
  • Have a solid technical understanding of relevant insurance lines and associated legislation, ensuring compliance and informed decision-making.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively engaging audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
  • Skilled in proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning and achieve beneficial outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong market insight and customer understanding to identify, pursue, and close profitable business development opportunities, supported by engaging and impactful presentation skills.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
