About the role


The Digital Experience (UX) Specialist will be responsible for developing compelling user experience through customer-centric interfaces that enhance the brand experience and drive sales and service to an online environment, and delivering signature digital experiences through contemporary user interfaces.

 

This is a 6-month max-term contract.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Design and deliver intuitive, user‑centred digital experiences, from discovery and wireframing through to prototyping, testing, and implementation.
  • Lead and contribute to digital experience initiatives, from UX enhancements to large‑scale product and platform improvements.
  • Define user needs through data, research, and customer insights, aligned to AAL strategic objectives.
  • Create and validate concepts through journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs in collaboration with technology and product teams.
  • Conduct or contribute to user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Continuously optimise user experience and conversion outcomes through experimentation, usability testing, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure a consistent Allianz Experience by championing design standards, accessibility, and best practice, alongside clear communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Apply scalable and modular design principles, aligned with design systems, accessibility standards, and enterprise frameworks.

 

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience in UX Design, Human‑Centred Design, Digital Product Design, or a related discipline.
  •  Demonstrated experience in UX or digital product design roles, with a strong focus on end‑to‑end experience design.
  • Strong experience designing end‑to‑end digital user experiences, with a focus on usability and customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience working in agile, cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, marketing).
  • Exceptional prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a data‑informed approach to decision‑making.
  • Experience working across complex digital ecosystems or multi‑channel platforms.
  • Understanding of compliance, accessibility, and regulatory considerations in digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in UX tools and collaboration platforms; familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools (e.g. GA, Adobe Analytics, Optimizely) is advantageous.
