About the role
- Collaborate closely with the Workers Compensation Non Insurance management team and proactively provide expert Finance advice relating to the delivery and execution of the financial performance of the division.
- Own the end-to-end divisional finance topics, translating financial implications for Senior Management.
- Support the new business tender process and contract negotiations.
- Strategic input and ownership of productivity workstreams, you will be a key catalyst and thought leader to sourcing and executing on the programs of work.
- Lead the divisional delivery for forecasting and planning processes to ensure requirements are accounted for and provided to the Finance Planning and Reporting Teams and Senior Management.
- Partner with and leverage resources from the various finance squads in an agile manner to implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Lead and coach team members to build high performing, collaborative and engaged teams.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or industry accreditations.
- Finance Business Partnering or Financial Planning and Analysis experience.
- Understanding of organisational financial frameworks and experience in financial management processes, resources, and systems, providing advice to improve financial performance and achieve strategic objectives.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to deliver storylines to senior management.
- Highly developed consulting and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability to co-create strategy and valuable analytical solutions with key business stakeholders.
