FINANCIAL MANAGER - INTEGRATION AND TSA (fixed-term contract of 18 months) – FINANCE - SYDNEY

About the role

 

Financial Management

 

  • Maintain a close collaboration with the RAAI Integration Management Offfice (IMO) in order to provide analysis, management and insights on programme budget control
  • Partner with all Workstream Project Managers and SMEs to provide financial analysis and support to manage and monitor budget to actuals to achieve greater accuracy in forecasting.
  • Manage the overall program budget vs actuals vs forecast on a regular basis, to analyse levers to reduce costs and provide updates to SteerCo, EPSB, CPMO as required
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, track invoices and timesheets and compare to reported hours by using nominated reporting tools
  • Keep track of signed SOW’s and create transparency in ‘contracted spend’ as part of future cost.
  • Engage with broader Finance team incl. support of the annual Planning Dialogue, budget reforecasts, accruals etc.

 

TSA Management

 

  • Responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of Transaction Service Agreement (TSA), including implementation and ongoing management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while maximising value for Allianz by facilitating smooth transactions and building strong client relationships with RAA & RAAI
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of the TSA Services
  • Work with appropriate Workstream PM & SMEs to  imminently address issues and matters raised relating to the provision of the TSA services
  • Responsible for the setup, tracking and reporting of the Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) in terms of costs, duration and the pro-active management of variances of TSA costs.
  • Drive TSA reporting on key SLA/KP.
  • Manage financial exposure to extension or early exit of TSA duration

 

 

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant financial discipline with relevant accreditations (CPA or CA equivalent).
  • Ability to interpret, analyse and communicate complex financial information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience in management reporting and variance analysis.
  • Proven experience of TSA management in large and complex organisations
  • Proven capability to adapt to change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation, leveraging effective process, collaboration and communication to foster commitment, participation and results.
  • Highly developed 'first principles' problem-solving skills, combined with a curious and creative mind-set.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse team members.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Demonstrates commercial acumen by using insights related to the market, opportunities, risks and competitors, as well as the dynamic levers that influence these factors.
  • Experience using financial and management reporting, including Excel, PowerBI, dashboard, tables, analysis and report writing.
