Reporting to the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, you will lead an operationally independent and objective Line 2 risk management function. Your role will oversee risks related to technology, cyber and data (including Privacy) and to promote a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation.

About you:
- Ensure that risk management activities related to Technology, including the evolving adoption of Artificial Intelligence, operate within the AAL risk management framework. These activities should also support the set risk appetite, particularly those related to Cyber and Data, including Privacy obligations.
- Provide Line 2 monitoring and challenge to activities and decisions that may materially affect the AAL technology, cyber and data risk profile. Promote a strong risk culture for technology, cyber and data risks across AAL and challenge activities and decisions that may materially affect AAL technology, cyber and data risk profile.
- Maintain and oversee a Delivered Risk management strategy and framework that supports the identification, assessment and management of delivered risk and organisational change management for Technology change projects across the business.
- Provide assistance and expertise to management committees and senior management to fulfil their respective roles concerning technology, cyber and data risk, including data-driven insights.
- Apply risk subject matter expertise to lead and influence teams in solving complex or high impact technology, cyber and data risks to AAL.
- Provide independent assurance over AAL's technology, cyber and data control environment that has dependency on Allianz Technology.
- Oversee AAL's Privacy Framework that is compliant with the Privacy Act 1988.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with relevant accreditations.
- 10+ years experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and strategies in a senior management role for a complex, matrixed corporate (financial services) organisation.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management frameworks and practices for technology, cyber and data risks.
- Highly developed leadership and stakeholder management skills that enable cross-functional thinking in the development and implementation of business and compliance solutions and drive collaboration throughout AAL.
- Expert analytical skills demonstrating the capability to provide strategic analysis while considering the holistic adoption and effective use of leading analytical risk techniques at an enterprise level.
