The primary purpose of this role is to perform the day-to-day Identity and Access Management (IAM) business operations of the IAM function and ensure the efficient delivery of identity services, IAM controls and adhere to governance processes. This role serves as the primary point of contact for IAM consumers who need support, guidance, or additional IAM services.

 

About the role

  • Ensuring Joiner, Mover, and Leaver IAM processes are executed promptly, including timely revocation of access.
  • Facilitating IAM control reviews such as User Access Re-validation, Role Attestation, and SoD Matrix Reviews, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements for onboarding applications, supporting role and SoD design, and coordinating with IT for smooth implementation.
  • Supporting business divisions in defining, maintaining, and decommissioning roles and entitlements aligned with the Role Management Framework.
  • Assisting in managing the business role lifecycle through creation, maintenance, and deletion to ensure ongoing accuracy and development.
  • Verifying IAM key controls by testing their design and effectiveness to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Reviewing and updating IAM processes to keep them current with evolving security needs and regulatory changes.
  • Providing IAM advisory services as the primary contact for consumers and liaising between business, IT, and security teams to align solutions with standards.
  • Conducting training sessions to raise awareness of IAM policies and procedures among end-users.
  • Monitoring IAM platform performance, reporting key metrics, using data analytics to support decision-making, escalating risks, and assisting with incident investigations while maintaining a local SoD matrix in collaboration with IAM Governance.

 

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, a related field or comparable work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 and ability to design IAM solution that comply with these standards.
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including authentication, authorisation, provisioning, role-based access control, and related processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in identity lifecycle management, access management, and privileged access management.
  • Familiarity with SoD, role management, and an understanding of security, risks, and governance within IAM frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Experience with IAM platforms such as Entra ID/Azure AD, OneIdentity, ForgeRock and understanding of IAM protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth, SSO and MFA.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing priorities and demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships.
  • Understanding of incidents and request handling.
  • Outcome and customer focused with highly developed problem-solving skills, combined with and curious, creative and critical thinking mindset.
  • High adaptability skills to an environment that is constantly changing and developing.
