The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage Project (s) and Initiatives to which they are assigned by supporting Project Sponsors in the definition/delivery of requirements, actively working with and supporting the delivery teams, ensuring the quality of the solution and rollout to the business operations, underpinned by appropriate tracking and reporting to the Steering Boards.

 

About the role

  • Collaborating with Allianz Technology to ensure an effective service design and service transition of assets into production.
  • Project managing asset onboarding with Allianz Technology and AAL CIO, along with other activities required to support our regulatory requirements.
  • Planning and leading the execution of Business Verification Testing for all major transformation releases, with the aim of embedding this activity into the organization longer term.
  • Ensuring Allianz Technology is meeting the required technical activities (beyond application delivery) to enable a successful implementation and go-live.
  • Identifying, escalating, managing, and resolving any related project issues and risks by working with key stakeholders across project teams and the wider organization.
  • Supporting the operationalization of the changes being delivered by the project or initiatives being managed.
  • Facilitating coordination amongst various stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of the projects or initiatives.
  • Delivering all governance, financial, and milestone updates within agreed timeframes.
  • Supporting the analysis of opportunities, including utilization of tools, data analysis, process analysis, and cost-benefit analysis to influence and inform decision-making.
  • Planning upcoming projects and improvement initiatives through consultation with project representatives during the project lifecycle to ensure high-level requirements are being gathered.
  • Developing detailed project plans in line with project management methodologies, tracking and reporting progress to ensure that the project is meeting agreed timelines and budgets.

 

About you

  • Experience in a project management role, with an emphasis on managing demand, idea framing and project initiation, in a complex matrixed general insurance or financial services organisation.
  • Demonstrated evidence of successfully leading and delivering projects within time, budget and resource constraints and sustaining outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Proven capability to manage change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation, leveraging effective process, collaboration and communication to foster commitment and participation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
