Pricing Analyst – Technical - Sydney

The primary purpose of this role is to report, monitor and provide detailed quantitative analysis, support and insights on pricing.

 

About the role

  • Analyse pricing performance and portfolio outcomes, using reporting and modelling to support informed, balanced decisions.
  • Translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights that guide pricing decisions aligned with both customer needs and strategic goals.
  • Continuously refine pricing models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with best-practice methodologies.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to support pricing initiatives, contributing insight, structure, and a shared sense of ownership.
  • Uphold pricing governance with diligence and integrity, ensuring controls are followed and continuously strengthened.

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Actuarial science, data science, mathematics or statistics)
  • Completion of Part I or strong progression in Part II Actuary exams is preferrable.
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with MS Excel, SAS, Python, Willis Towers Watson pricing software (Emblem, Radar) valued.
  • A calm, organised approach to managing priorities and complexity, with the ability to adapt thoughtfully to changing demands.
  • Clear communication skills that build trust and enable effective collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
