About the role:

• Working within the Life Protection Team at Allianz Retire+ this role will develop strategic product roadmaps and support the creation of business cases for life protection initiatives, including conducting market analysis and evaluating competitive positioning to inform decision-making.
• Lead cross-functional project planning and delivery across stakeholders (Marketing, Digital, Contact Centre, Policy Services, and Claims), ensuring alignment to business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive the implementation of life protection product, process, and business changes, ensuring clear documentation, stakeholder alignment, and effective execution.
• Oversee end-to-end system and life protection product change delivery, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, customer expectations, and risk and control standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal governance frameworks, while preparing reporting, updates, and supporting regulatory and compliance deliverables for stakeholders and governance forums.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualifications with RG146 accreditation, supported by strong product experience in life insurance and a deep understanding of industry regulations and frameworks.
• Demonstrates strong commercial acumen, using market, customer, and competitor insights to identify risks and growth opportunities.
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and the ability to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritise, and manage competing demands effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder collaboration, technical skills, and communication abilities, enabling clear, influential engagement across all levels
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
