SENIOR MANAGER, STRATEGIC SALES – PERSONAL INJURY & COMMERCIAL – MULTILOCATION

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Manager, Strategic Sales to lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives across Allianz’s Underwritten Personal Injury portfolio. This is a senior market-facing role focused on growing pipeline, strengthening broker and customer relationships, increasing cross-sell opportunities and building differentiated industry-specific value propositions.

 

About the role  

You will help translate portfolio strategy into practical market execution, with a clear focus on disciplined cross-sell, whole-of-account growth, industry specialization, and data-led sales performance.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive sustainable growth across Workers Compensation, Accident & Health, Excess of Loss, self-insurance claims management and related Allianz product offerings.
  • Identify and convert cross-sell opportunities through existing broker, employer and partner relationships, increasing share of wallet and strengthening customer retention.
  • Lead industry-specific sales strategies and customer value propositions for priority segments, tailoring solutions to sector risks, workforce needs, claims trends and service expectations.
  • Partner with underwriting, claims, pricing, client relationship and marketing teams to develop market propositions, sales enablement material and targeted pipeline activity.
  • Represent Allianz in client, broker and industry forums, positioning the business as a specialist partner in people risk and personal injury solutions.
  • Develop sales metrics, KPIs and Salesforce CRM practices to strengthen pipeline management, performance reporting and data-driven decision-making for senior management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs, providing actionable insights that support proposition development and commercial decision-making.
  • Ensure sales activity is delivered in line with regulatory, legislative and governance requirements.

 

About you

You will bring senior sales, distribution or underwriting experience and a strong ability to turn commercial strategy into measurable growth. You are confident working with brokers, employers, partners and senior stakeholders, and you can balance strategic thinking with practical execution.

 

  • Significant experience in sales, distribution, strategic account management, production underwriting or a related insurance environment.
  • A proven ability to develop and deliver growth strategies across multiple channels, customer segments and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience using market, customer and portfolio insights to prioritise opportunities and build targeted sales plans.
  • Experience identifying cross-sell opportunities and translating customer relationships into broader product or service opportunities.
  • The ability to develop or contribute to customer value propositions, sales enablement material and go-to-market strategies for specific industries or segments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage brokers, employers, industry bodies and senior internal stakeholders.
  • An understanding of underwriting, claims, prevention, pricing or people risk solutions will be highly regarded.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
