Reporting to Head of Sales Office, the primary purpose of this role is to explore new partnership opportunities, focus on retention strategies of existing partners and grow the Consumer Partners segment into emerging markets. You will also be the primary market facing referral point for these new opportunities and work with senior and operational leaders across Consumer Partners.

About the role:

  • Understand existing and growth ventures and develop relevant partner value propositions.
  • Direct the execution of business development strategies, to ensure they align with our distribution strategic direction.
  • Help develop service offerings for new and emerging partners.
  • Develop business cases and term sheets for any new partnerships including partner qualification (Example SCOTSMAN).
  • Collaborate with Head of State leaders in developing sales pipelines at a national and jurisdictional level so that there is a consistent approach across existing business channels.
  • Collaborate with the tenders and award teams to ensure professional responses to partners.
  • Maintain the partner opportunity pipeline and report on the progress to the Consumer Partners Leadership team.
  • Lead any tenders/RFP's across Consumer Partners with State Head of.

About you:

  • 7+ years of experience in a sales and account management environment within an intermediated consumer setting.
  • Experience managing business development activities across partnerships.
  • Comprehensive understanding and demonstrated ability to read the market and understand customer requirements to identify, pursue and close business development opportunities and retain clients that contribute to the profitability of the organisation.
  • Interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision-making.
