About the role
- Developing, executing, and monitoring processes to manage risks in alignment with the Board-approved risk appetite.
- Act as a trusted advisor providing ongoing advice on risk management and compliance matters.
- Contribute to the strengthening of governance, risk management, internal controls and compliance framework.
- Analysing risk incidents and compliance incidents through identifying root causes and implementing areas for improvement.
- Leading the development of remedial activities to support business alignment with risk management principles.
- Contributing to customer-centric strategies by ensuring risk management practices prioritise the best interests of our customers.
About you
- Proven experience in risk management, governance, or compliance roles, ideally within Insurance or Financial Services.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to truly address the root cause with effective long-term solutions.
- Proven analytical ability to interpret a range of data, alongside strong technical understanding of design and operating effective controls.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence and collaborate effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, is highly desirable.
