The primary purpose of this role is to support the development and delivery of the divisional strategy. This includes leading the delivery of initiatives aligned to the division's roadmap of strategic initiatives, by planning, leading implementation efforts, communication and storytelling, and performance measurement ensuring their successful embedment. By collaborating with decision-makers and aligning efforts across the division, this role aims to influence business outcomes and ensure the long-term success of the division.

About the Role

  • Facilitate the strategic planning process for Personal Injury and Commercial (PIC), including Strategic Dialogue, Planning Dialogue, and Enterprise Business Plan activities.
  • Create engaging storyboards and presentations to support strategic activities and deliverables for Board, SMT, General Managers, and Allianz Group.
  • Assist in organizing and preparing for PIC strategy-related workshops.
  • Maintain up-to-date market and competitor insights, translating them into actionable analysis and opportunities to inform stakeholders about industry developments.
  • Guide the execution of key PIC strategic initiatives, including opportunity assessment, business needs analysis, delivery, change management, and cost-benefit analysis to ensure successful implementation and monitoring.

 

About you

  • Possess tertiary qualifications in strategy, finance, or marketing, with demonstrated experience in leading and delivering strategic initiatives and conducting strategic assessments
  • Insurance / Financial Services experience preferred
  • Strategy Consulting or Marketing Strategy experience desirable
  • Proven ability to manage organizational transformation through effective processes, collaboration, and communication, fostering commitment and participation.
  • Expert financial management skills, including articulating financial benefits, and the ability to think strategically, commercially, and entrepreneurially.
  • Highly developed influencing skills, with the ability to co-create strategies with senior stakeholders and present complex information clearly and impactfully to diverse audiences.
  • Strong PowerPoint and strategic storytelling skills, along with knowledge of contemporary strategy development practices and tools, and creative thinking techniques.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
