About the role

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Partner with senior business leaders to provide trusted risk advice and challenge across technology, cyber, privacy, data and operational resilience matters.
  • Support strategic initiatives and transformation programs by identifying technology delivered risks early and embedding controls by design across the change lifecycle.
  • Support root cause analysis activities for significant incidents, issues and operational losses to identify systemic themes and help the business drive sustainable remediation outcomes.
  • Provide insight on emerging technology risks including cloud, AI, automation, digital platforms and third party services.
  • Conduct risk assessments, support control reviews and facilitate risk management activities in accordance with Allianz risk frameworks and regulatory obligations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business ownership, control effectiveness, and risk culture across the division.
  • Deliver meaningful risk reporting, trends and executive insights that support decision making at leadership and governance forums.

 

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Significant experience in technology risk, IT audit and  cyber risk within a complex financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of modern technology environments including cloud, digital platforms, data, cyber security and emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions in complex, matrix organisations.
  • Proven ability to translate technical and regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify themes, challenge constructively and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting technology enabled business transformation, project delivery or change initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage audiences from operational teams through to executive leadership.
