Role Overview – Bot Developer
As a Bot Developer in the CAI Development Squad, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our chat and voice bots to meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will span across technical project development, innovation, feature integration, business contribution, customer satisfaction, team development, and supporting implementation projects. You will collaborate with a talented team to drive the success and scalability of our Conversational AI solutions.
Role Requirements:
- Lead technical project development efforts to enhance Conversational AI (CAI) solutions, focusing on innovation and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with the Implementation Squad to ensure smooth project deliveries and mitigate risks.
- Drive the integration of new features and third-party system integrations
- Directly contribute to building a positive business case and enhancing profitability.
- Ensure the delivery of easy-to-consume services highly valued by customers.
- Provide project estimations and solution ideas to mitigate risks and achieve revenue targets.
Your Responsibilities as Bot Developer:
- Design, develop, train, and optimize chat and voice bots to address customer needs.
- Implement new features, including external application integrations
- Enhance Generative AI applications (e.g., FAQ and Knowledge Base Systems, Copilot system, text summarization, language translation, user profiling, personalization).
- Drive the innovation pillar within the CAI Bot Development Center of Excellence.
- Train bot Natural Language Understanding (NLU) models and analyze bot performance.
- Assess project issues and provide use case counselling.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and guidelines.
- Design and deliver training programs for team members and customers.
Key Requirements:
- University degree. E.g.: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, AI, Data Science or related field
- Programming proficiency in Python and/or NodeJS and JavaScript.
- Experience in designing and developing chat and voice bots.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI applications.
- Ability to create detailed documentation and training materials.
- Excellent command of verbal and written English. German and/or Spanish are a plus.
- Experience in working with international teams in a multicultural environment
Key Skills:
- Excellent subject matter expertise: Experience with Conversational AI platforms like Cognigy, IBM Watson, Google Dialogflow, etc. Knowledge of integration techniques with third-party systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attitude: Highly communicative and collaborative. Can effectively interact with Developers, other Squads, stakeholders, customers and management.
- Way of Working: Agile mindset and willingness to adapt to changing requirements and feedback.
