BACK OFFICE SPECIALIST - INVESTMENT INSURANCE PRODUCTS

The role is within the Operations function and is focused on the end-to-end management of back-office activities related to insurance-based investment products (e.g.unit-linked / IBIPs).
This position requires a hands-on, proactive professional who takes full ownership of operational activities, is able to identify and resolve issues independently, and actively proposes practical solutions and process improvements. Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full lifecycle of insurance LIFE policies:
• policy issuance
• amendments and endorsements
• surrenders and partial withdrawals
• fund switches
• premium and payment processing
- Provide day-to-day operational support to distribution channels (banks, financial advisors, intermediaries)
- Handle post-sale activities and operational requests
- Act as an interface with external providers (e.g., IT systems, administration platforms)
- Collaborate with internal departments (Compliance, AML, Finance, IT, Sales)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Significant experience (10 - 15 years) in insurance back office / operations
- Proven experience with insurance-based investment products (unit-linked, IBIPs)
- Strong understanding of insurance operational processes and policy administration activities
- Familiarity with AML and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical mindset; high level of attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ChatGPT or equivalent tools
- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
Location: Trieste, Milano
Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € 45.000 gross and € 50.000 gross.
Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement.
The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
