Role Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior profile to manage securities/asset master data within the Sofia system and contribute to the improvement of large-scale data processing workflows. The candidate will join the Finance - Fund Accounting & Investment Support team and play a key role in managing and optimizing financial data, collaborating with various business functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency in processes

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage, update, and maintain securities/asset master data within the Sofia system, leveraging info providers such as Bloomberg or ICE
  • Monitor and verify the quality of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Develop and implement automated tools and solutions to improve the efficiency of data management processes, using programming languages such as Python or other analytical tools
  • Analyze and manage large datasets (big data) to support business decisions and optimize operational processes
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Investment, and Risk Management teams to identify and resolve system and data-related issues
  • Produce financial reporting and advanced analyses to support business activities
  • Assist in defining and implementing best practices for data management and workflow optimization

 

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields
  • Previous experiences in similar roles, preferably in the financial or insurance sector
  • Previous experience in managing securities/asset master data in systems such as Sofia or similar platforms
  • Advanced knowledge of Python (or other programming languages) for data processing and analysis
  • Familiarity with data management and analysis tools, such as advanced Excel, SQL, or business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of the financial sector and key financial instruments (stocks, bonds, derivatives, etc.).
  • Ability to work with datasets and develop automated solutions to improve productivity
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various business functions
  • Proactivity and problem-solving orientation
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
