Job Purpose / Role
Within the Strategic Planning department in the CFO area, we are looking for an Insurance Planning specialist who will join the LH Planning & Capital Management team. Your role will encompass a variety of dynamic and challenging tasks. These include – but are not limited to – supporting the activities related to the Strategic Planning cycle in the LH segment, the ongoing performance monitoring, and the regular forecast activities as well as to ad hoc special projects.
To this end, you will collaborate closely with a diverse range of experts. This includes for example interacting with Actuarial, Accounting&Reporting, Risk colleagues, as well as with the LH technical area team.
Key Responsibilities
In particular, your tasks will comprise:
- Contributing to the design and coordination of the Strategic Planning for LH companies within Allianz S.p.A. Group,
- Support the monitoring activities and running quantitative analysis to support the CFO and the Business Functions’ strategic decisions
- Support the regular forecast activities in coordination with all involved Local and Group departments
- Contributing to the implementation of strategic business initiatives and ad hoc, cross functional projects,
Key Requirements / Skills / Experience
- Master's degree in Economics, Actuarial, Mathematics or equivalent
- Experience (e.g. 1 year) in Insurance companies, preferably within Planning & Controlling and/or Actuarial Department
- Excel, Access, , Power Point, SAP, and Power BI knowledge. ChatGPT or AI equivalent tool
- Programming skills will be considered as a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative mind-set, entrepreneurial attitude and learning agility, along with strong result-orientation and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong team-working orientation, delivering on tight deadlines alongside with dealing with separate work-streams at the same time mind-set
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in Italian and English
