RISK MANAGEMENT - SENIOR P&C RISK ANALIST

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
The candidate will be part of the PC Risk Management Dept. in the CRO Area, as an analyst on Catastrophe risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calculation of Risk Capital for Non Life Underwriting Risks, using Allianz Internal Model, Standard Formula and USP parameters, comparing different models and analyses movements for all the Italian Non-Life Companies of the Group, focusing in particular on the Catastrophe risks (NatCat and non NatCat)
- Development & parameterization of the models for Solvency II and internal steering purposes for Natcat models and Terror models, preparing data, relative assumption documentation and managing the related governance including exchange with intra company expert teams and the Allianz SE Group.
- Actively support the business processes and translation of risk capital results in business steering: product approvals and UW decisions, reinsurance optimization, monitoring KPIs (e.g. cat accumulation, …)..
- Interaction with business, actuarial departments, actuarial function, accounting departments and reinsurance; contribute to their relevant sector meetings.
- Contribute in the internal and external reporting: ORSA, RSR, SFCR; reporting to Allianz SE Group, IVASS and the Supervisory Board.
- Interaction with Regulators, Top management and BoD
- Support activities for strategic questions like M&A, dividend payments…
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree in Actuarial Sciences or eventually DA, Statistics, Mathematics or equivalent
- Experience (e.g. 5/6 years) in Risk Management or Non-Life Actuarial experience in an Insurance or Reinsurance Company or in a Consulting firm
- Practical experience or knowledge on market catastrophe models (RMS, AIR…)
- Excellent communication skills and teamworking ability in an international environment
- Familiarity in working with actuarial/ statistic software, programming languages and database query
- High proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
- Sound user knowledge in programming in R, SAS or Python or SQL is an advantage
- Advanced problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
