The candidate should have around 12-15 years of relevant experience with Consulting, Designing, Implementation and Engineering level support for the IP Services solutions like DNS, DHCP v4 & v6, Linux as well as exposure to Network subnetting.
The other Technologies involved in this role are as mentioned below.
Experience/Domain Knowledge needed:
Primary Skills (L4 / Engineering and Architecture Level expertise – mandatory requirement):
- DNS and DHCPv4/DHCPv6 protocols with hands-on management of BIND – Primary skill
- Red hat based Linux servers – Primary skill
- IPV4 management and familiarity of IPV6 – Primary skill
- Architecture, Design and Consulting skills
- Solutioning and Presentation skills for IP Services area
- ESXi/KVM based Virtualization
Secondary Skills (Secondary skills):
- Experience in IP address management in a large corporate environment with exposure to an IPAM tool
- Awareness on AWS / Azure Cloud Technologies
- Network routing and switching
- Network Security
- Programming skills in Python / Shell scripting / Ansible
- Understanding of Active Directory Integrated DNS
Responsibilities:
- Support with Design, Consulting, Engineering and Architecture activities for the global IP Services solution in Allianz.
- Support with Build and upgrade activities for the IP Services infrastructure.
- Provide L3-L4 / Engineering level Escalation Operational support for the for the global IP Services solution.
- Interact with Customers for understanding and supporting their requirements with IP Services solution deployment.
- Transformation / Transition / Migrations of IP Services solutions.
- Incident / Change and Problem Management support for the Global IP Services solutions.
- Working closely with Vendors (e.g. Cisco, HP, etc) for escalated issues until resolution.
- Collaborating with Architecture, Engineering and various internal and external delivery and support teams for ensuring Optimal support for the IP Services solution.
- Proactively managing client engagement, technology lifecycle development, and planning and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders
- Analysing, evaluating, and communicating capacity and performance with the objective of driving improvements to customer networks.
- Creating presentations and demonstrations related to technology, process, or client solutions as necessary.
- Support the Information Security Officer and the Audit Units for periodic Audits / PT on the IP Services solution
- Documentation of infrastructure design, procedures and processes as part of Operational support activities.
Mentoring and provide Technical guidance for the L1/L2 and L3 Operations teams, as needed
A fundamental grasp of AI tools will be an added benefit.
