The Impact You Will Have
The Marketing and Events Coordinator is a generalist role within the North America Marketing function which is responsible for supporting, planning and implementing Market Management activities across the region. The role includes marketing communications and materials, events, hospitality, PR and the management of the Allianz Commercial brand, both internally and externally. The role plans and organizes small to medium client events and ensures that follow-up actions are planned and implemented smoothly within compliance and budget requirements. Must be able to travel throughout North America (including Canada).
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Assisting professionals in Transactional Accounting including reconciliation of payment against insurance contractual agreement, pulling support for billing, and tracing payment details for cash application

Assisting in cash reconciliation and allocation for aged payables & receivables

Participate in a wide range of learning and development activities focused on immersing the intern into how insurance works
What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Basic knowledge of accounting entries (debit/credit)

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in e.g., Accounting, Business Administration

Minimum GPA of 3.2

Communication & Presentation: ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbal

A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.

The company offers a pay rate of $23 per hour for this internship.
