Role Overview: 

 

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager who will support us in providing local entity coverage together with global topic coverage. Whilst overseeing dedicated local entities, you will be responsible for the design of a specific global Compliance topic, implement and manage it across all locations and advising local and global management accordingly. 

This is a delivery-focused and business-oriented Compliance role. You play a critical role in promoting a culture of governance and integrity across Allianz Services, and fostering compliance frameworks in practice — not just on paper. You will work closely with senior leaders, sister functions and auditors, and will be expected to exercise sound judgement, provide challenge where needed, and drive tangible outcomes.

Reporting to the Allianz Services Chief Compliance Officer, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy and visibility - whilst taking into consideration local regulations, Allianz Services’ internal rules and Allianz Group requirements, and acting as the key point of contact for a dedicated global Compliance topic with relevant stakeholders. 

 

What you do: 

 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a global compliance topic in accordance with the requirements and including all tasks as set out in the Compliance policy, respective Standards and Functional Rules as well as the Compliance manual.
  • Contribute to the development and periodic updating of Compliance internal rules and procedures to foster alignment with current laws, regulations and industry standards
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the organization to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our system of governance, and overall compliance requirements.
  • Foster alignment with strategic compliance objectives and corporate standards.
  • Leveraging of available and possible digital solutions for Compliance topics and identifying emerging compliance risks and trends.

 

What you bring: 

 

  • A relevant university degree (e.g. Law, Finance, Economics or similar) and/or equivalent professional experience; compliance certification (e.g. ICA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs, or a related governance function, preferably within an international organization.
  • Strong judgement and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A business mindset with a passion to advise Functions based on their processes, value chain and objectives
  • Experience working in international, matrixed environments and collaborating across geographies.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, negotiation, and conflict management skills, with expertise in moderation and presentation techniques
  • Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct
  • Fluent English is required; additional languages (especially German, Romanian, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Malaysian and/ or Hindi) are a strong advantage.
