Project Name : Allianz UK
- Creating, Maintaining and supporting the application in their respective operational portfolio.
- Implementing various design patterns, Keeping abreast of technology standards and industry trends
- Work closely with Architects, Project managers, Business analysts, Scrum Teams and End users to deliver software that satisfies customer requirements
- Proactively identify possible technical issues, show stoppers and possible causes with solution to avoid/rectify them in the early stages of architecture.
- Ensures developed software aligns with approved application / enterprise architecture
- Alongside engineering skills, support non-cloud and Cloud technologies (AWS & Azure) and DevSecOps principles with which to influence technology roadmaps and help mentor software engineers as they develop their own skills.
- Keep up-to-date with latest trends, technologies and approaches and share this knowledge with different team members to help influence strategy and keep Allianz at the of engineering
- Provide technical leadership - both the technology choices within solutions and the engineering methods used to achieve this.
- Understanding of information security practices and ensuring team follows it
- Work collaboratively with all levels of stakeholders – India, UK, Az Group, Third-parties etc

Qualification, Experience and Skills
|
- Hands-on development experience in Java in Cloud
- Experienced in Spring framework and related patterns in MVC and Boot.
- Experience in different type of integrations (e.g. MQ, Native etc.)
- Experienced in WebServices (ReST/MicroServices) development.
- Hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience in Unit testing
- Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Good to have knowledge in Event Driven Architecture.
- Good knowledge in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Openshift.
- Good to have knowledge in CI tools like Jenkins.
- Good to have worked with Git, Gitlab/ Github.
- Preferably hands on experience in DevOps patterns and practices.
- Preferably good understanding of application servers and containers (Docker containers etc.)
- Good knowledge of Design patterns and experience in implementations of those.
- Experience in Agile framework
- Interpret business requirements and create IT system architectures and designs to support effective and efficient development of IT solutions
- Challenge business requirements where they would lead to overly complex solutions and propose suitable alternatives to achieve the desired outcome
- Take responsibility for identifying and implementing opportunities to automate IT development and testing tasks to improve efficiency and quality of development
- To provide updates to Development Managers when required in relation to the position of work being undertaken
- Encourage and participate in the growth of team members development to build the overall levels of competency across IT in line with the professional development framework.
