This role sits at the heart of how we move money between Allianz Partners, payers and medical providers. When a claim is approved, you make sure the right amount is paid to the right party, on time, and correctly recorded in our systems – and that any gaps, delays or errors are spotted and fixed.

It’s a good fit if you:

  • Enjoy working with numbers, spreadsheets and reconciliations, and like getting things “exactly right”
  • Are comfortable chasing information and payments, and following up until issues are resolved
  • Prefer structured, process-driven work but can still adapt when things change
  • Want to grow your finance career in a health/insurance environment, close to real operational flows rather than pure accounting theory

If you’re the person colleagues turn to when something doesn’t reconcile or a payment looks off, this role is likely for you.

What you do

You will:

  • Prepare and process payments to medical providers (including EFTs), making sure they are accurate, supported by the right documentation, and executed within agreed turnaround times
  • Monitor claims payment flows from all payers: track aging, follow up on delays, resolve discrepancies and keep internal stakeholders informed
  • Reconcile and update accounting and financial systems with all claims-related transactions, ensuring bookings are timely and compliant with internal controls
  • Calculate and collect receivables from providers, send statements of account and outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue amounts
  • Produce and share regular outstanding and aging reports with payers and internal teams, keeping records and files organised for easy access and audit
  • Provide clear, professional communication internally and externally (providers, insurers, other partners) to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use

You will report to the Regional Finance Reconciliation Manager and work closely with finance, operations and external partners.

What you bring

This is a filter, not a wish list. You’re likely to be successful if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience that shows solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, reconciliations, aging, provisions)
  • Around 1+ year of experience in finance, accounting, or claims payment processing; exposure to a TPA, hospital, medical centre or insurance environment is a strong plus because it helps you understand medical claims flows and stakeholders
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, filters, pivot tables) and solid MS Office use (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), as you’ll work daily with data, reports and email communication
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple payment runs, reconciliations and follow-ups in parallel while meeting deadlines
  • Clear, professional communication and negotiation skills – comfortable following up on overdue amounts, clarifying discrepancies and maintaining respectful relationships
  • The ability to work independently within defined processes, escalate issues when needed, and adapt to changing volumes or process updates in a fast-paced environment
  • Legal right to work in the country of operations, and willingness to work extended hours when required by month-end, deadlines or exceptional workload
